PADI Divemaster
As a PADI Divemaster, you will be able to act as an instructional assistant to a PADI Instructor, or act as a professional guide leading divers to new and exciting dive destinations.
PREREQUISITES
In order to become a PADI Divermaster you must first already be a PADI Advanced Diver (or equivalent) and a PADIRescue Diver (or equivalent). You must be 18 years old and be certified in CPR and First Aid. You must also have logged at least 40 dives to begin the program.

P.A.D.I.Divemaster is the first Professional level. you will learn how to assist with classes and conduct some classes on your own. As a divemaster you can take jr. open water divers and SCUBA divers out for dives in open water.
This class has 4 parts, Waterskills Development, Practical Application, Divemaster-Conducted Programs Workshops, and Practical Assessment.
Pool: You will assist with all levels of classes in the pool. You may be asked to re-demo skills and work one on one with students that need additional help to master skills.
Ocean: You will assist with classes in the ocean. you may be asked to accompany dive teams or lead teh tour portion of dives. You will help set-up and tear down auxiliary equipment at the dive site, such as floats and underwater courses. you may also be asked to play victim for rescue classes. Upon completion you will need to fill out an application and send it to PADI. Your final permanent card will be mailed out, you did it! your a certified divemaster!
