Open Water Week Night Format
The Weeknight Format is a two week class consisting of eight classroom/pool sessions (four per week), and ocean dives on the final weekend of the class. The ocean dives consist of four SCUBA dives and one snorkeling dive (optional). Weeknight Format (Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs @ 7-10pm for Two Weeks). Ocean the second Saturday/Sunday.

P.A.D.I. Open Water Diver is the foundational class. It teaches you the necessary information to conduct dives in a safe manner.. You’ll be introduced to new skills and underwater life.
This class has 3 parts:
Classroom: We will review all 5 knowledge reviews, and reinforce any questions you may have missed or want more clarification on. We will also cover the dive tables and the basics of using a dive computer. There are 5 quizzes and a final.
Pool: After we cover each of the 5 chapters we practice skills in the pool. You’ll use all the same gear as you will in the ocean. There are 5 “confined water” or pool dives we will do in preparation for the ocean.
Ocean: the final section of the class are 4 “open water” dives. For these we will be diving in the ocean. Each dive will have a few skills to demonstrate from the pool and will finish with a tour of the dive site. You’ll get a pro’s knowledge and experience of the site and the many plants and sea life you’ll see underwater, this also lets you gain comfort and refine your diving skills in a safe and easy manner. No new skill are introduced at the ocean that haven’t been mastered in the pool. At the end of the second ocean day and 4th dive you will go over anything to work on to advance your diving, and will gain your temporary certification card. Your final permanent card will be mailed out, you did it! your a certified diver!
